Sitefrost going down :(

Wow 25 days, I really need to get into the habit of updating more. Well here I go.

A few weeks ago TiPi found another possible exploit, and while it definitely looks exploitable, it's very very unstable with the smallest changes, so it's hard to use. I've been trying to make a program to work with the memory dumps from it, but it doesn't seem to want to work right, I've been debugging it.

A week and a half ago, a friend gave me his laptop to try fixing, saying Windows wouldn't boot. Booting from the CD/DVD drive is like playing the lottery, and the hard drive won't seem to take installing too well, every time I've reinstalled Windows on it it ends up corrupt in some way. I'm guessing a motherboard problem, but who knows, I'm still trying to fix it.

I've also been getting into computer programming again, more specifically, operating systems. I recently set up a bootable USB drive, and I got a little curious about attempting to make a live USB operating system from scratch. Who knows how far I get with it, but it'll be fun either way.

As for simpleMenu, I haven't even touched it in a while, I swear I'll get it done soon though. It's hard to get anything done lately, one of my best friends who recently moved out of town still goes to school here, and had been coming to my house before and after classes.

I'm sure everyone has heard of 6.20 TN, I personally can't wait just as much as I'm sure others can't. I personally am more interested in the possibilities of running psplink and other useful tools for development, but either way it brings a lot of new things to PSP's stuck on newer firmwares.

And lastly, the most unfortunate and namesake for this post, Sitefrost, the host for h4ck.fi.st, is shutting down. This also means that h4ck itself is going down, and TiPi doesn't plan on finding a new host, as Wololo's new HBL forum removed the need for an advancedpsp.tk replacement.

Well that is all for now, I will try updating more often I swear >.>

  1. Sad news indeed. :(
As for the exploit, it looks very exploitable. Let's hope we can solve the problems. But I'm sure it won't be easy.
